Recently, there’s been an upsurge in the number of phone robbery case in Kano, Northern Nigeria’s commercial center.

From attacking people in isolated places, the robbers – mostly young people – are now attacking their victims in traffic in broad daylight.

As if that is not bad enough, they have started moving house-to-house to perpetrate the crime.

 In this concluding episode of our series on the rampant cases of phone snatching in Kano City, we listen to those who survive speaking about how they now manage to go through life with defects of sorts.
